This page explains what data we collect when you visit and shop at baileysblankets.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how to opt out. It covers the website and online orders. It does not cover in-store visits or in-person purchases.

What we collect when you place an order
To process and ship your order, we collect:
- Your name, email address, and shipping address
- Your billing address and phone number, if you provide them
- The items you ordered and your order history with us
We use this only to fulfill your order, communicate with you about it, and keep our business records.
Payment
Card payments are processed securely by Square. Your card details are entered in a secure Square-hosted field. We never see or store your full card number. Square handles your payment under its own privacy practices: squareup.com privacy.
What we collect automatically
When you visit a page, our analytics tools record:
- Your IP address (approximate city, not exact location)
- The browser and device you are using
- The pages you visited and how you arrived
- Anonymous identifiers stored in cookies to tell one visit from another
- A recording of how you interacted with the page (cursor movement, clicks, scroll), used to improve the site. Text you type, including in checkout fields, is automatically masked and never recorded.
Why we collect it, and what we do not do
We use your information to fulfill orders, run and improve the site, and meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not sell your information, we do not run advertising on this site, and we do not build marketing profiles of you.
Who we share it with
- Square processes payments (privacy).
- Shipping carriers receive your name and address to deliver your order.
- Google Analytics for site traffic, property
G-FD792R29ZG(privacy). - Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps and session recordings (privacy).
We share only what each provider needs to do its job, and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
Cookies
- Shopping cart cookies, set by our store software to remember your cart and complete checkout.

The site does not set advertising or retargeting cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as needed to run the business and meet tax and legal requirements. Google Analytics data is retained up to 14 months, then deleted automatically. Microsoft Clarity keeps session recordings for 30 days, and sampled recordings and heatmap data for up to 9 months.
Your choices and rights
- Email baileysblanketscontact@gmail.com to ask what we hold about you, request a copy, or ask us to delete it (we retain what we must for completed orders and tax records).
- Opt out of Google Analytics with the official add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Set your browser to reject cookies (checkout may not work without cart cookies).
- We honor a Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a Do Not Sell / Do Not Share request.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child provided personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent change.
